Our Story

Celebrating Afghani Pashtoon Heritage Through Food

The Bawar Tradition

Bawar Biryani was born from a deep love for Afghan culture and cuisine. Our name “Bawar” means “belief” in Pashto — belief in real flavors, belief in slow cooking, and belief in gathering around the table like one big family.

Every dish is made the old way: layers of fragrant rice, tender meat, and hours of patient simmering — recipes handed down from our grandmothers. This biryani was made to be shared with friends — big plates, loud laughs, hands reaching everywhere. Come hungry, leave happy! ❤️

In true Afghan spirit, we open our doors wide and welcome every guest as family. Here, food is love, love is loud, and second helpings are always waiting.
